We created this trip to Namibia, Botswana and Zambia for a family with two daughters to see the best of Namibia, Botswana and Victoria Falls. The biggest dream was concentrated on safaris in Moremi and Chobe and sleeping in the lodges within the national parks. Another requirement was the helicopter trip through Victoria Falls and flying over the Okavango Delta by plane.

Details proposed travel to Namibia, Botswana and Victoria Falls designed.

If Africa is a continent of contrasts, this trip to Namibia, Botswana and Victoria Falls is his staging of contrast. They combine the dry landscapes where the lack of water forces the animals to make long journeys in search of water and watering holes, which is contrasted with flowery green fields of the Okavango Delta in the Chobe National Park, where the animals find their oasis with such an amount of water, surplus and vegetation. We can combine this route with the possibility of seeing the impressive Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, either from the sky by helicopter or from the walkway that borders the several viewpoints of the falls.

Explore by car jeep 4x4 Sossusvlei and the dunes of the Namib.

Feel the thrill of the vast desert and towering dunes of Namib-Naukluft National Park in southern Namibia. Thanks to our travel experience, explore the mother land of Namibia where dunes dominate the immense landscape of the centuries-old coast of Namibia. We have selected excellent accommodations strategically well located at the entrance of the national park, facilitating early entry and late exit of the park to enjoy the sunrise and / or sunset. Explore and climb the famous Dune 45, step on the land of the petrified trees of Dead Vlei and Hidden Vlei of what centuries ago were the Tsauchab and Aub rivers, enclosed by the advance of the Namib Dunes.

Travel through authentic Namibia in Damaraland.

The next day we propose to go north to enter the country and get to know in depth one of the most historic and emblematic regions of the country, the Damaraland. This region is home to treasures such as cave paintings, impressive rock formations, petrified forests and is home to elephants.

On safari in Etosha National Park in Namibia.

On the fourth day we propose to go to the jewel in the crown of Namibia, the Etosha National Park, a huge dry salt flat where at night the fauna comes alive with its watering holes where all kinds of animals congregate in search of water. We can accommodate you in the best places within the park, where the animals are best seen and if you feel like it we organize a night safari to go at night in search of the animals with an expert guide. In addition, we put at your disposal a Personalized Travel Dossier in which we will explain all the details of the park, where to see the animals, how to move around the park, etc.

Of the mammal species found in the park, several are rare and endangered, such as the black rhinoceros and the black-faced impala. The elephants of Etosha are reputed to be the largest in Africa. For most of the year, Etosha Park is a gloomy expanse of cracked mud white that glows with mirages almost every day. Seeing large herds of animals against this mysterious backdrop makes animal watching in Etosha a unique experience.

Travel along the green strip of Caprivi in Northern Namibia.

From there our suggestion is to go up north in search of a contrast to the great dry salt flat of the Etosha National Park. You will see the enormous joy of the local population when you head north, passing through villages that are nothing more than houses of straw and mud, endowed with enormous joy and continuous smiles. Our next stop is the green strip of Caprivi, a rich river area where everything revolves around the Okavango rivers (from Angola that flows into the Okavango Delta) and the confluence of the Zambezi and Chobe rivers. Here we will have the opportunity to enjoy an incredible sunset, we can embark on small boats to enjoy more closely the fauna of the area such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and red hartebeest that cool off in the water after a sunny day. In addition, in the lodges we can offer an excellent accommodation service and of course the best dishes of the local gastronomy.

On safari in Chobe National Park in Botswana.

Crossing the border with Botswana we can enter the world famous Chobe National Park in Botswana, where it flows into the Okavango Delta. Chobe National Park is famous for large herds of elephants and buffalo, and large prides of lions that have learned to hunt them; by a river that apparently flows both ways; and by the mysterious, disappearing (and reappearing) Savuti Canal. The key to this safari area is the migrations of Chobe’s animals. Chobe’s animals move in complex patterns, formerly determined by rain and available food. Within the Chobe National Park we propose you to enjoy the Moremi Nature Reserve, which extends through the Okavango Delta.

Safari through Moremi Nature Reserve and navigate the Okavango Delta in mokoro.

In addition, here in the nature reserve of Moremi you will have the possibility to make an incredible trip through the Okavango Delta in mokoro, the typical wooden boat (ebony) for two, led by a local guide called poler, a fantastic experience especially during sunset. From the riverbank it will take you through the waters of the green labyrinth of the Delta, where an incredible peace reigns and where the flora is rich and colorful.

Fly over the Okavango Delta in Botswana by plane.

Another fantastic option to see the Okavango Delta is to fly over the Delta, having a bird’s eye view over the extensive green and river landscape of Moremi Nature Reserve and Chobe National Park. In this way it is incredible to see animals such as elephants, zebras, gnoes, giraffes and lions.

Safaris in Chobe National Park in Botswana in search of the
hippopotamus at sunset.

We can also offer guided safaris through the Chobe National Park, the best way to spot the animals with a local expert guide, who knows better than anyone where the animals are located at all times. Departures can be several hours or full day and are made both day and night.

Visit Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe.

Leaving behind the Moremi Nature Reserve and Chobe National Park, we propose to go to Zimbabwe to see the fantastic Victoria Falls. Once you cross the border you reach the town of Victoria Falls, gateway to Victoria Falls National Park. Several trails through the forest vegetation lead to the more than 15 viewpoints that undoubtedly offer the best panoramic views over Victoria Falls.

Fly over Victoria Falls by helicopter

.

For those who love a panoramic aerial view we can recommend flying over Victoria Falls. Crossing the border with Zambia, aboard a comfortable helicopter you will have an incredible bird’s eye view and your pilot will explain every detail of the area of the falls, the Zambezi River and the national park. We can offer you long or short helicopter flights, even combined with helicopter safaris.
