Family husky dog sledding safaris: Designed with families in mind, of just the right length and tried and tested for families with children.

A visit to Santapark: A Christmas park set in a cave where children can enjoy the elves’ show, ride a magical train, decorate gingerbread biscuits and attend the Elves’ School.

Fun at Snowman World: A snow and ice park featuring slides, ice sculptures and ice rinks.

Snow games and sledging: At Santa Claus Village, with thousands of sledges available and the chance to play in the snow at any time.

Ice Karting for children over 150 cm tall: An exciting ice kart race.

If you still have any questions, here are the answers to the most frequently asked ones:
When is the best time to travel?
The best time to visit Lapland is from early December to late March.
At what age would you recommend starting to travel?
We believe that Lapland is a destination suitable for all ages, but the minimum age for travelling there would be 3 or 4 years old due to the cold.
What should I pack for cold weather?
We always advise customers to wear thermal clothing, as we provide a full thermal suit; the thermal clothing is designed to retain body heat.
Is it better to go to Rovaniemi or to other areas?
As Rovaniemi is the capital of Lapland, it’s the place we always recommend visiting first; however, if this isn’t your first trip to Lapland and you’d prefer to explore other areas, we’ll provide you with the best places to visit and accommodation options.
Is it worth visiting Santa Claus Village?
Santa Claus Village is Lapland’s top attraction, thanks to the festive atmosphere in the village and the activities on offer. If you’re a large family, we guarantee you’ll have an incredible experience here; however, if you’d prefer a bit of privacy and relaxation, we can recommend other places in Rovaniemi.
Where is the real Santa?
Even if your children see different Father Christmases in Lapland, you can tell them that the real Santa Claus lives in the magical forest of Joulukka and that they can only visit him if the elves invite them to go.
Can you see the Northern Lights?
We can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to see them 100% of the time, as it is a natural phenomenon, but if you’re really keen to see them, we’ll provide you with an aurora hunter – a specialist in these phenomena who knows the best spots for viewing them and will help you track them down.
What happens if the children fall ill during the trip?
We offer our customers health insurance which they can take out in the event that a family member falls ill; by taking out this insurance, they can go to hospital to find out what the problem is and how the healthcare service can help.
How many days would you recommend for the trip?
We recommend allowing around 4–6 days, as if you try to cram it all into a shorter timeframe, you might not have enough time to do all the activities, and the children might get too tired.
If we go to a cabin, are there any restaurants or amenities?
In principle, all our cabins include half-board at a restaurant, and a cleaning service will come to clean the cabin every morning if you wish.
Can children ride on the snowmobile?
Children taller than 150 cm may ride behind the motorbike driver, but if they are shorter than that, we will provide a covered ‘sledge’ driven by the guide, with enough space for all the children.
